Dual Downtown Transit Systems
Cincinnati makes it easy to leave the car at home while moving around the city. Two popular transit systems intersect at the riverfront: the Southbank Shuttle, offering $2 rides over the river to Kentucky, and fare-free Cincinnati Connector streetcar.
Unlike most urban light rail systems, which are generally designed for commuters, the Connector's 3.6-mile loop was built to link the city's top hospitality and entertainment districts. You can connect from the northern Brewery District all the way south to the riverfront parks, accessing TQL Stadium, Great American Ball Park, Aronoff Center for the Arts, Over-the-Rhine, and other popular attractions along the way.

Cincinnati rebounded from one of the biggest population declines of any U.S. city in the early 2000s. They did it through major reinvestment, focusing on revitalizing neighborhoods that had been historically overlooked.
Over-the-Rhine is a great example. Anyone who lived in Cincinnati in the 90’s knows it’s an area that struggled after highway construction led to residents relocating to the suburbs. The city reinvested. Now, it’s one of the city’s top destinations for brunches and stroller walks.
By the official 2020 U.S. Census, the city saw its biggest 10-year population gain since 1950. City incentives continue to support property value for Cincinnati’s downtown homeowners.
