Onyx+East Announces New Single-Family Product Line

Known for its townhomes and condos, city builder adds detached homes to product offering in Indianapolis.

Alloy by Onxy+East Begins Construction in September 2020.

Onyx+East is introducing a new boutique collection of single-family detached homes, adding to its robust offering of modern townhomes and condominiums.

Alloy by Onyx+East is now building in three Indianapolis neighborhoods that are full of history and character. New homes are under construction in Riverside, Historic Meridian Park and Friends & Neighbors.

An alloy is a combination of metals, which often creates something stronger, yet the original metals retain their own signature properties. In the same way, Alloy by Onyx+East brings new homes to established and developing neighborhoods yet respecting the history and the character of the communities.

“Living in an Alloy home provides an opportunity to invest in a fresh, brand-new home with convenient access to nearby work and entertainment destinations. The walkable lifestyle encourages a ‘know-your neighbor’ culture, whether walking your dog or heading to your local coffee spot,” said Kelli Lawrence, Onyx+East CEO.

Alloy delivers the right home in the right neighborhood at the right price.

With prices starting from the $250k’s, Alloy is perfect for first-time homebuyers who desire style, functionality, connections to employment, entertainment, recreation and also demand energy efficiency and smart-home technology.

“These homes are the ‘right size’ for today’s modern buyer,” said Lawrence. “They have open floor plans with large kitchens, plus private yards that allow for comfortable hosting of holidays and gatherings. But the homes are not so big that buyers have to clean all weekend, instead of doing activities they enjoy. And, with new homes, younger buyers don’t have to worry about the unexpected expense of home repairs.”

Alloy homes include yard space, ideal for pets to run and play. Owning a detached home also means Alloy homeowners get to keep their neighbors close, without sharing walls with them.

Stylish + Functional. Smart + Efficient.

Buyers can choose a single or two-story home and among seven distinct floor plans—ranging from 1,250 square feet to more than 2,200 square feet, with 2-4 bedrooms and 2-3.5 baths.

Alloy’s features include expansive open floor plans, designer kitchens, private yards, two-car garages, energy efficient windows, electric and HVAC and Energy Star rated appliances. Also, quartz countertops, high-quality cabinets, beautiful flooring and stylish fixtures—that are often upgrades in new-construction homes—all come standard.

Smart-home technology also comes standard, allowing the ability to seamlessly control lights, the thermostat, doors, security systems and appliances with just the touch of a homeowner’s cell phone or the sound of his/her voice.

Each home can be personalized with one or more modern design upgrades, including a home office for those who work at home, a chef’s kitchen, a dog wash, wine storage and a luxe bath.

“For many, monthly mortgage payments will be comparable to rents at most luxury apartments. Alloy allows younger buyers to gain personal and financial freedom from rent payments. They are affordable enough, too, so that they can still enjoy their lifestyle and the benefits of their neighborhood’s walkable amenities,” said Eric Jefferson, Onyx+East Director of External Relationships.
