Kelli leads the strategic vision and growth efforts for Onyx + East, including strategy development and expansion into new markets and business lines, development of teams to execute the business, overseeing corporate operations, growing capital relationships, and leading corporate culture to recruit and retain top talent.

Before joining Onyx + East, Kelli was a partner for 18 years at a private, Midwest-based multifamily development firm. While there, she led development, construction, and overall market execution in the Louisville and Indianapolis markets.

In her 20+ years of real estate development, she has led the development and construction of more than 4,000 for-sale and rental homes valued at over $850M throughout the Midwest and Florida.

As an active member of the Indianapolis community, Kelli was named a Woman of Influence by the Indianapolis Business Journal in 2021. She is an active member, both nationally and locally, of the Urban Land Institute currently serving on the Americas Executive Committee and as a Past Chair for the Indiana District Council. She is a Past Chair of the Ball State University Alumni Association and is currently a Director for the Ball State University Foundation. She also currently serves on the Board of Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity and is a proud supporter of Riley Hospital for Children, having served as Chair of the Riley Society Board.

Andy leads the financial strategy of Onyx+East and is responsible for financial and business execution.

Andy oversees multiple divisions, including finance, accounting, IT, legal, risk management, administration and HR. He also establishes capital sources for projects and investment, provides investment oversight and shares reports with investors and shareholders.

Before joining Onyx+East, Andy was one of four co-founders of Milhaus, a vertically integrated, multi-family and mixed-use real estate and investment firm. As the former CFO/COO, he led the financial operational expansion from a four-person to 300-person enterprise across nine markets over an eight-year period—exponentially increasing profitability and enterprise value during that time. He has more than 15 years of experience in real estate development.

David leads the land acquisition and development teams and pursues new market opportunities for Onyx+East. He has been instrumental in the expansion of the company’s business in the Midwest and Florida where the company is now focused on delivering over 2,000 built-to-rent homes alongside its award-winning urban townhome and single-family products.

Before co-founding Onyx+East, David was one of four co-founders of Milhaus, a vertically integrated, multi-family and mixed-use real estate and investment firm. At Milhaus, he led new markets and projects while expanding the company‘s footprint from Indianapolis throughout multiple U.S. markets. He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate development.

David is a member of the Urban Land Institute and its Urban Revitalization Council. In 2012, he was named 40-Under-40 by Indiana Business Journal, and he completed the Stanley K. Lacy executive leadership program in 2011. He is past board member and board chair of Outreach, Inc., an Indianapolis organization that empowers and equips homeless teens and young adults to achieve stability and life transformation.

Ryan leads the operational strategy and execution for Onyx+East. He is responsible for multiple functions, including site construction, vertical construction, architecture, estimating, purchasing, design studio and business systems. Ryan leads operational teams across markets to design, develop and build projects across all Onyx+East markets, as well as playing a key role in building and developing people, culture and teams throughout the organization.

Prior to joining Onyx+East, Ryan attended Purdue University and spent his career in various operational roles throughout manufacturing, telecom and construction industries. He has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate development business throughout various operational roles, in both public and private homebuilding operations.

As Vice President of Acquisitions + Development, Jake leads land acquisition, entitlement, and development in the Indianapolis, Columbus, and Cincinnati markets. Jake also supports investor relations, product design and innovation, and overall market strategy.

Over his career, Jake has led the acquisition, entitlement, and development of over 3,200 multi-family and single-family housing units valued at more than $800M. Jake is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute at both the national and local levels. Jake serves as Board Chair of the Executive Advisory Board for the Department of Urban Planning at Ball State University, where he also frequently serves as a guest lecturer and mentor to students. In 2021, Jake was named the Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning’s Graduate of the Last Decade.

Jake is married with two young children. In his free time, Jake enjoys cooking, exercising, spending time outdoors and being active with his family in their church.

Keith is responsible for leading and supporting our Construction + Warranty Department, including the management, planning, design review, budget and execution of site development. He oversees all construction activities, including the development and refinement of project schedules and overall production flow across all projects to ensure quality standards and schedule adherence. He has more than 20 years of experience leading construction teams and purchasing departments with public and private homebuilders. Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, watching Purdue sports, woodworking and everything outdoors—including camping, hunting, whitewater rafting and kayaking.

As Director of Business Systems, Shawn is responsible for the company’s onboarding and development of server and online operating programs and tools across all divisions. These tools allow O+E to operate with efficiency and data integrity, while providing real-time metrics for leadership and associates through various reporting modules and dashboards. With more than 25 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, Shawn understands the importance of processes, data and systems—all which help to align our employees during their workdays. Outside of the office, Shawn enjoys spending time with his family, attending live performance events, RVing, golf, and motorcycling!

Matt leads internal Purchasing and Production Services functions to drive continual improvement in trade partnerships and overall execution, including quality, cost, capacity, product innovation and customer experience. Matt’s team effectively leads the bidding process to ensure all costs negotiated are all-inclusive and guarantees that all documentation required for an effective bid is received in a timely manner to support community openings. Matt understands trade partner capabilities and performance, while conveying existing business plan needs and future growth expectations. Matt has more than 10 years of sourcing, vendor management and project management experience in homebuilding and healthcare industries.

As Director of Development Operations, Brandon is responsible for everything from finding new sites, to feasibility analysis, to leading all design and entitlement efforts for a potential new project. With more than six years in the urban planning industry and more than three years of experience in real estate development, Brandon is skilled at making a grand vision become a reality. Brandon is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new Indy restaurants and bars, and traveling. He is also a proud dog dad and Airbnb Superhost!

As Director of Purchasing, Randy is responsible for acquiring trade relationships, producing budgets for the Florida market and maintaining costs. He has 39 years of construction experience and has started three successful companies. Outside of the office, Randy enjoys riding his motorcycle, vacationing and watching Vikings football and Lighting hockey.

As Director of Sales + External Relationships, Eric supports the O+E sales team and is responsible for sales execution and developing business relationships. With more than 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, Eric also serves as a consultant on marketing, land acquisition, market research and product development. He is a licensed real estate broker in Indiana and Florida. Outside of the office, Eric enjoys grilling out and spending time with his family and two dogs, Hank and Coach.

As Director of Architecture, Derek is responsible for managing architecture consultants from project inception through construction completion for both for sale and build-to-rent homes across the Indiana, Ohio and Florida markets. He acts as the link between external design consultants and internal development, construction, sales and municipalities.

Derek is a licensed architect in the state of Indiana with 10 years experience in multifamily real estate design and development. He is also a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a licensed Realtor in Indiana.

Outside of the office, Derek and his wife are avid travelers and also enjoy indoor cycling, hiking at Eagle Creek Park and walking the Monon Trail. 

Nick leads the Purchasing Department and provides strategic direction for achievement of divisional goals and business plan needs. He oversees the bidding process to ensure all costs negotiated are all-inclusive and guarantees that all documentation required for an effective bid is received in a timely manner to support community opening guidelines. Nick understands trade partner capabilities and performance while conveying existing business plan needs and future growth expectations. He drives value-engineering efforts to ensure the most cost-effective product and provides recommendations to reduce costs and work, including utilization of national contracts.

As Vice President of Operations, Greg is responsible for oversight of all Florida operations including site operations, sales, design, product development, purchasing, permitting, construction, warranty and staffing. He has more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry with 35 years in the Florida market. Outside of the office, Greg spends quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He’s an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoys time in the woods and on the water.

As Vice President of Operations, Josh is responsible for directing all construction planning and operations at Onyx+East. When outside of the office, Josh enjoys spending time with family, attending sports and music activities, vacations, carpentry work, boxing and fitness.

She has over six years of experience as a civil engineer / consultant for land development and has an active Florida professional engineer license. Rachel also loves traveling and reading.

As Warranty + Quality Assurance Manager, Adam strives to provide excellent service to our customers after closing to ensure fair, prompt, and courteous attention to their warranty requests. With more than 16 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, Adam strives to establish and maintain positive customer relationships while managing our trade partners to complete service requests on new homes. Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, landscaping, grilling and other outdoor activities.

As Senior Production Services Analyst, Levi is responsible for lot-specific estimating and purchase order creation. Outside of work, Levi enjoys spending time with his family visiting parks and being outdoors. He also enjoys watching horror movies and everything Halloween!

As Sales + Engagement Concierge, Tori is responsible for ensuring our clients have an exceptional buying experience while assisting them through the sales, selection and closing process. As Operations Manager, Julie is responsible for managing the overall inner-workings of Onyx+East. Some of these responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding new staff, creating and implementing procedural standards, assisting with home closings, managing social media accounts, monitoring inventory, maintaining company databases and providing overall support for each department. Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her friends and family—especially her nephew, Tate, and her kitties, Gus and Oliver. Being an avid animal lover and former dolphin trainer, you can always catch Julie doing something with animals.

As Construction Superintendent, My is responsible for managing the operations of construction sites from ground breaking to completion. My has over 10 years experience in residential construction and works closely with homeowners throughout the construction process to meet all expectations. Outside of work, My enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching New England Patriots football, traveling, camping, snowboarding and many other fun, recreational activities.

As Construction Superintendent, Tim is responsible for scheduling and managing the home building projects from ground breaking until construction completion. Tim has worked in the homebuilding industry for more than 25 years. When not at work, Tim enjoys fitness training, watching sports, walking his dog and vacationing in Mexico.

As Construction Superintendent, Eric works to schedule trade partners, maintain the job sites, and ensure timelines and deadlines are met. He works closely with the homeowners during the construction phase to ensure a high-quality home is built to their expectations. Eric has more than 15 years experience in the homebuilding industry. Outside of the office, Eric spends time outdoors with his family, riding dirt bikes, camping, climbing and playing guitar.

As Development Associate, Will is responsible for preparing and leading all new proformas, CMAs, submarket analysis and site planning across the Florida market. He also tracks residential land acquisitions throughout the Tampa Bay area. Outside of work, you can find Will spending time with his friends and family around Tampa Bay. Will also has a passion for baseball, watching the Red Sox, and traveling any chance he can.

As Marketing Specialist, Lauren assists in distribution of marketing materials, planning and hosting of marketing events, preparation of promotional presentations, and manages the social media platforms. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys trying local breweries and restaurants, playing with her dog Fefe and teaching horse-riding lessons.

As Warranty Superintendent, Paul is responsible for scheduling and executing warranty-related items for homeowners. He has 15 years of construction experience and was previously a production manager at a successful remodeling and flooring company. Outside of the office, Paul enjoys riding motorcycles, dirt bikes and ATVs and playing guitar.

As Construction Coordinator, Shellbie is responsible for all aspects of the permit process and managing the Florida office. She has more than 10 years in customer service and project management experience. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family,  going UTV riding, boating, camping and spending time with her 3-year-old English bulldog, Layla.

As Construction Superintendent, Chad is responsible for managing all construction aspects of a project—from breaking ground to completion, all while providing an exceptional homeowner experience. He has eight years of new-home construction experience and providing guidance to homeowners through the build process. Outside of work, Chad enjoys exploring new areas of the city with his family, landscaping and biking local parks and trails.

Ana is responsible for submitting permit applications for new homes and upcoming projects. She also acts as a closing coordinator, working with title companies and lenders. She has more than 15 years of experience as a title agent and more than 10 years of experience with new home building. She is also a liscensed real estate agent. Outside of the office, Ana enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family and walks with her dog, plus the occasional half marathon.

Outside of the office, Kasia enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries, traveling, skiing, completing home renovations and spending time with her two golden-doodles, Winnie and Tanner.

As Sales Counselor, Mark is responsible for the selling and closing of homes in our Indianapolis communities. His role includes working with prospective buyers and maintaining relationships with local Realtors. With more than 10 years of experience in the real estate industry, Mark is also a licensed real estate broker. As Assistant Superintendent, Randy is responsible for supervising the construction process, maintaining top quality at every stage of the build and costumer satisfaction. He has seven years of construction experience in the Tampa Bay market. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, snorkeling and spending time with his two dogs.

As Senior Project Superintendent, Alfredo is responsible for managing projects from ground breaking until construction is completed. He works closely with homeowners during the construction process to ensure all expectations are met and exceeded. Has worked in the construction industry in Florida for more than 15 years. Outside of the office, Alfredo enjoys traveling, boating and golf carting around downtown St. Petersburg with his chocolate lab, Pablito, and his wife, Rebecca.

As Construction Manager, Clint is responsible for providing onsite leadership and establishing effective working relationships with trade partners to help promote a positive project morale while delivering exceptional customer experience. He has 20 years of experience in residential construction, delivering homes to nearly 1,000 buyers over the course of his career. Outside of the office, Clint enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughters, listening to his my old record player or fishing any chance he gets.

Kimberly is responsible for new project rollout, business process improvement, assisting in trade negotiations, cost analysis, supply chain, budget accuracy and cost variances with focus on trade partner relationships. She has six years experience in international supply chain and 28 years experience in the homebuilding industry for both international and domestic homebuilding operations. Outside the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and pickleball with friends.

As Land Acquisition and Development Manager, Annie assists in site selection, feasibility, design and entitlements for potential new projects in the Columbus, Ohio market. She also helps to facilitate capacity studies for potential projects in all Ohio markets. She has three years of experience in multi-family architecture design, with a focus on the pre-design and entitlement phases. Outside of the office, Annie enjoys trying new restaurants and visiting family in Indianapolis.

As Construction Manager, Cody is responsible for supervising Construction Superintendents while managing and overseeing all construction activities within our communities. He takes great care in ensuring the construction drawings, specifications and contract documents, are all accurate for the building process. Additionally, Cody monitors all productivity and quality related activities, mentors, trains and supervises construction team to ensure homes are completed with care and quality. Outside of work, he loves spending time on the boat, golfing, camping, snowboarding, hiking or just being outdoors.

As Senior Project Manager, Wayne is responsible for the daily activities of land development and home construction including scheduling trades, quality control, ordering materials and trade relationships. He has more than 40 years of construction experience in the Tampa Bay market. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time on the boat with family and friends.

As Construction Manager, Andy is responsible for managing the activities of construction field superintendents and communities.  He ensures the construction schedules, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the construction process. He has more than 14 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, sports and trying new breweries.

As Construction Superintendent, Brad responsibility is to manage and supervise the field construction of assigned projects and to ensure the work schedule, project budget, and O+E quality standards are achieved. Brad has worked in the homebuilding industry for more than 15 years. When not at work, Brad enjoys pending time with family and juggling multiple sports between his four boys.
