O+E Expands Into Indy's Fountain Square + Kennedy-King

Onyx+East continues its expansion in the Indianapolis market with two new communities, establishing a footprint in Historic Fountain Square and Kennedy-King. Colere, located at the corner of English Avenue and Shelby Street, is the company’s first project in Historic Fountain Square and is an investment of $10.6 million. The residential community is unique in that it includes several of O+E’s signature products all in one location. Colere includes townhomes, duplexes and single-family detached Alloy homes—all with common area courtyards and flexible open floor plans.

With prices starting from the $350k’s, Colere’s townhomes feature stunning private rooftop terraces with Indy skyline views, attached private garages, 2 to 4 bedrooms, 2.5 to 3 baths and 1,530 to 2,081 square feet. For homeowners who prefer not to share walls with their neighbors, Alloy homes in Colere start from the $400k’s. Buyers can choose from three unique floor plans, ranging from 1,911 to 2,187 square feet and up to 4 bedrooms.

“We’re excited to expand into these two areas of Indianapolis,” said Kelli Lawrence, CEO of Onyx+East. “Our range of communities offer a home for everyone, no matter what phase of life they’re in.”

Townes at Kennedy-King, a townhome development located at the corner of 22nd Street and College Ave., is an investment of $8.7 million. It will be priced from the high $200k’s, making it one of O+E’s most attainable projects. Located just steps from the Monon Trail, Townes at Kennedy-King offers buyers its two newest floor plans—both featuring a third-floor walkout terrace to expand outdoor living space, 2 to 3 bedrooms, 2.5 to 3.5 baths and 1,300 to 1,948 square feet.

“Kennedy-King is one of the fastest growing urban populations in Indy,” Brandon Bart said. “This community offers buyers a new construction home at an attainable price point. The location allows for easy access both north and south. The nearby transit stop, future bike lane and planned Monon Trail improvements make this a desirable area to call home.”

Voted two consecutive years as “Best Home Builder” by The Indianapolis Best Things program, Onyx+East continues to offer the best of modern and functional home design while building in Indy’s most desirable locations.

Today, Onyx+East has built or has under construction 28 projects comprising of $250 million of investment in Downtown Indianapolis, Carmel, plus Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida.

Construction on both communities is expected to begin in the spring, with the first homes closing in Q4 of 2022.
